Rajesh comes from rural area of Nepal. After graduating with Veterinary Science in 1996, he applied his professional knowledge in his home country by working with Department of Livestock Services for 8 years. Then, he went to the Netherlands from where he obtained his MSc degree. As part of his Masters, he worked on his minor thesis at Riddet Centre in Massey University, New Zealand. Rajesh joined the Department of Animal & Poultry Science of the University of Saskatchewan as a Ph.D. student in September 2006 and is working at Prairie Swine Centre under supervision of Dr Pascal Leterme.
