Setting Up an Effective Farm Trial

November 3, 2020

On farm tests are used as managers want to prove the technology works on their farm, they are unaware of other barns with the technology, or the technology is from a different country which has different conditions than theirs. Looking for third-party verifiable test results on new technology is the first step in assessing its appropriateness and economic value for your farm. On-farm tests are also an option. To increase the chances of success for your trial make sure to use an on farm trial checklist.
