Grower-Finisher feed costs may be reduced if ingredients with high fibre could be included without affecting performance negatively. Treating diets with enzyme supplementation or processing to include barley and wheat millrun may be beneficial. Without reducing performance, wheat millrun can be incorporated into diet in grower pigs up for to 25%. DE content of barley was improved with supplemental enzymes indicating barley has reduced energy digestibility due to fibrous fractions, while barley-millrun diets were not improved with supplemental enzymes.
